I ordered fabric for the back of the diamond quilt but I decided to not use my original choice. So, I reordered new fabric and it finally arrived in the mail last Friday. I quilted it on the weekend and my cat, Felix was watching on the table behind the sewing machine and he would get startled when the quilt would advance towards him. When I was changing bobbins, he decided to take advantage of the still quilt to sit on it.
I was really happy with how the quilting turned out. I used the grey hand-dyed thread by Linda Palaisy. I straight lined quilted the quilt by following the lines established by the diamonds.
